It's not just rock tombs and sarcophagi, is the architectural legacy of Lycians is still alive and well today?

The photo shows a local small granary – and you can find these all over the region, ours is at the back of the Sanat Evi in Ovacık.

It is said by some that these structures are the direct descendants, in terms of design, of the Lycian stone sarcophagi.

Of course there is no way to prove this is true but we do like the idea.
