If you've been to Turkey you may have tried the smooth yogurt drink called Ayran. But you don't need to travel to Turkey to try it. Follow our recipe and make your own.

Ayran is a white yogurt drink found in Turkey and the surrounding countries to the North and East. It is very popular and is drunk on its own or with many foods.

To make your own Ayran follow our recipe below.

For 1 Serving

• 1/3 glass yogurt (natural)
• 1/3 glass water
• 1/3 teaspoon of salt
• 1/3 glass of crushed ice

1. Combine all the above except the ice and beat throughly.

2. Put the ice into a tall tumbler and pour the mix from 1 over it.

And there you have it nice cold ice cold Ayran!!
