The Turkish Lira continued on its rapid depreciation trip today as it weakend further against major currencies. At the close of business the Pound bought 2.90 YTL on the wholesale currency markets. Only 2 weeks ago we reported that the rate was 2.54 YTL.
Are we on our way to 3 YTL to the Pound?
