Our indefatigable friends, Ovacık English Folk Dancing Group, have now appeared in a piece of TV reportage, due to be shown on Saturday, 7th July at 8pm on TRT2 addressing the subject of foreign couples coming to Turkey to get married. According to TRT2 more and more people, especially from Great Britain, are choosing to marry in Turkey – hence the report.
Fethiye Times is not at all surprised at the numbers coming here to marry as you can get married anywhere; the weather is great; the photo opportunities are fantastic and it is much cheaper than having your wedding in the UK. Plus your guests can have a holiday at the same time as they are here for your wedding.
