Ovacık Open Gardens’ Day has been moved forward and will now take place on Sunday, 1^st May 2011.

Four gardens will be open on the day:

• David and Stuart’s garden where plants and refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drinks and home-made cakes) will be on sale;
• Barbara and Terry’s garden next door;
• Clive and Carol’s garden and
• Vanessa and Tony’s. 

All food and drink will be 1TL per item, and there will also be a good selection of 1TL plants. 

The gardens vary in size and style and should provide plenty of ideas for anyone new to gardening out here, and a visual feast for everyone who visits them.

The gardens will be open from 1pm – 4pm, and it is possible to walk around the circuit and visit all the gardens in this time.

Entry to the gardens is by map, and maps cost 2TL with proceeds from the day being shared between the Garden Club and Ölüdeniz Hash House Harriers.

Maps will be on sale next Sunday at the Çalış Boot Sale, and also at the Ölüdeniz Hash meeting later on the same day.  Or you can turn up in Ovacık on the day and buy your map at the gate of the first garden you visit.
