The meeting was held at Pat and Chris’ garden in Yanıklar and around twenty people turned up – including several new members.

Pat took everyone on a guided tour of the garden while Chris showed them how he composts kitchen and household waste.

This garden is now six years old, and has the benefit of many mature trees that were already established before the garden was laid out.

Sale of plants raised 32TL and members went home happy with their new acquisitions.

The May meeting is actually Open Gardens Day in Ovacık about which we shall be writing more shortly.
