The meeting is on Wednesday, 6th October at Graham and Pauline’s garden in Üzümlü.

They have created not only a lovely ornamental garden, but also grow vegetables and fruit, on a plot that was still a building site some four years ago.

At the meeting John Watson will also give a short presentation on the horrors of the red palm weevil which recently destroyed a 5-year-old date palm in his Çalış garden.

This weevil, which has decimated palms in Spain and other European countries, is now here in Turkey and John has graphic photos to prove it.

So turn up to the meeting to enjoy a lovely garden and learn about a possible palm predator.
