If you've been to Dalaman lately you may have noticed the 'Botanic Gardens' sign where you turn left to take the short cut to the airport from Fethiye.
Don't be fooled. It's not a garden at all, merely the name of Hanel Homes latest apartment complex with shared swimming pool. Clearly the young man in charge of the site office has already had visits from gardening Brits as he greeted Fethiye Times with "We don't sell plants". More's the pity say we.
