The March meeting is a visit to Pastoral Valley, an organic farm and eco-holiday centre up the valley in Yaniklar village.  There are 3km of dirt track from the village to the farm so we will meet opposite the mosque (on main Dalaman road) at 1.45pm, and then drive along asphalted roads through village to point where dirt track begins, there’s ample parking and anyone worried about taking their car up the dirt track can park there and get into someone else’s vehicle.  Our host for the afternoon, the owner of Pastoral Valley, Ahmet Kizen, will be providing refreshments so, if you haven’t already let Suzanne know if you are coming please e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. If you are late and thus forced to find Pastoral Valley under your own steam, turn right before the big bridge on the new road and just follow the track that runs alongside the river.  After 3km you will come to Pastoral Vadi (Turkish name) on your left (irrigation channel on your left) and can turn down into the farm where there is plenty of parking space.

In April we are going on a day trip to a large nursery at Marmaris then the Palm Centre at Koycegiz in the afternoon.  This will be a members only trip subsidised by Club funds.  At the March meeting we’ll be collecting names for the April day trip so that we can book the right size of bus.  Hence, if you fancy a good day out with lots of plants to see, for a minimal cost, come along to the March meeting and join the Club and ensure your place in April.
