The Club’s meeting on Wednesday 4th April will be a day trip to a nursery near Marmaris in the morning, a chance to buy plants not available locally.  Then a leisurely lunch break in Koyceğiz followed by an afternoon visit to the wonderful Palm Centre.  As well as a guided tour of the Centre participants will get tea/coffee and cake included in the fee for the trip and the chance to acquire more plants which you won’t find anywhere else.

The cost to members for this trip is 12.5YTL which covers transport and entrance to the Palm Centre, club funds are subsidising this cost.  If any non-members reading this would like to come there are a few spare places on the coach at a cost of 20YTL for non-members, still good value for the whole day.  If you’d like to come along, and have not yet booked a seat, please e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 9am Depart from Migros.
Please don’t use Migros car park but leave your car in one of the many side roads in the area.

11am ƥpkan Nursery at junction of Marmaris and Muğla roads.
This nursery supplies a wide range of imported and endemic plants, we will be visiting their growing and stocking grounds and you will be able to buy plants. 

12.30 Koyceğiz
Around an hour and a half for you to buy your own lunch – or bring a picnic and eat it by the lakeside. 

2pm   Palm Centre
Ragıp and his staff will welcome us to the Centre and we will split into smaller groups for guided tours of the gardens and refreshments.

6pm  Arrive back at Migros.
