Gardening Volunteers wanted at the Palm Centre

Fethiye Times is a big fan of the Palm Centre in Köyceğiz. Our Gardening Club visits the Centre on a regular basis and Ragip, the founder and owner of the Centre, provides us with our Plant of the Month feature in Turkish. We translate it so both of us can post it on our respective websites in English. In common with many public and privately owned gardens in the UK, the Palm Centre encourages volunteers to get involved with the work.
They ask for a regular, once per week, commitment which can be for a half day or a full day. Unfortunately they cannot pay expenses, but you do get to take part in the work and would learn an awful lot about the wonderful plants grown there.
