Gardening Fethiye Times Gardening Club - And a jolly good time was had by all

The Fethiye Times Gardening Club trip to Ortaca and Köyceğiz on Wednesday 8th October was, it was universally agreed by all who took part, a splendid day out.
Our friendly terracotta pots and antiques seller in Ortaca, Halil at Nomad Bazaar, had actually organized tea for all of us.
No mean feat when the entire party numbered 47.
Having successfully loaded our terracotta purchases we continued to Köyceğiz for lunch by the lake and then the final short journey to the Palm Centre.
Ragip the owner of the centre had let us know beforehand that we could claim 10% discount on all plant purchases and, with his newly expanded plant sales area heavily stocked, there was no problem spending money on unusual plants that you just don’t find in the local plant centres in Fethiye.
So we returned in a mini jungle on wheels and had great fun unloading all the plants outside Fethiye Migros.
