Only around 20 people attended this, the last meeting of the current season, which was a treat in terms of providing refreshments, but what a garden was missed by those members who couldn’t make it.
 
Pillows of startling pink succulents, interspersed with white daisies or, in other areas, multi-coloured gazanias, are the first plants to greet you as you enter the gate.

This garden is four years old and, high above Ovacik, has to contend with year-round winds. 

The latter was a pleasantly refreshing breeze on the afternoon of the meeting, but in winter it shifts into gale force. 

In the distance you can see the outdoor chess set, another feature of the garden.

And a clever wooden walkway has been created from leftover scaffold boards. 

A stream in wood, no less.
