If you own a vehicle the first instalment of tax is due for 2012 at the end of this month (January).

If you own a Turkish registered vehicle you can pay your tax all in one go or alternatively in two instalments - one at the end of this month and the other at the end of July.

If you forget to pay your tax on time a fine will be levied.

Make sure you keep your receipt issued by the tax office as this will be required as proof that your tax is paid up to date tax.
