New Low Cost Airline Routes to Turkey from the UK

The airline SunExpress is opening two new routes between Stanstead and Antalya/Izmir.

Airline SunExpress, owned by Lufthansa and Turkish airlines, is to launch twice weekly  flights on Monday and Thursday between Stanstead UK and Anatalya. The flights will start on 8th February. A second route will be opened between Stanstead and Izmir in March.

The airline is branding itself as a ‘low cost carrier’ but its package isn't 'no frills'. It will offer free drinks, meal, seat selection, newspapers, in-flight films and music. Up to 20kgs of baggage is allowed free of charge with an option of a further free 30kgs for golf and SCUBA diving equipment.

Let’s hope the company will consider Dalaman as a suitable destination in the not too distant future.
