Tangala is delivering hampers – Santa style – all over Turkey. And these seasonal deliveries contain Tangala cheese and traditional, local products. It’s not surprising that these hampers are proving to be this season’s must-have present.
Here’s the answer…
If you love cheese and traditional Turkish specialities, or you know someone who does, here is some very good news.
Maybe you don’t live in Turkey but are wondering what to buy for family or friends who do. Or perhaps you live somewhere in Turkey but are looking for something to give your festive celebrations that WoW factor. The answer is simple – buy a hamper full of delicious cheese and other goodies.
Spreading the word about cheese
OK, Buket won’t be delivering these hampers herself – on a sleigh drawn by goats. Instead she’ll be using one of the country’s excellent next-day cargo delivery services.
These days Buket is busy – justifiably earning an reputation for producing some of the finest hand made cheese in Turkey. As well as locally, in and around Fethiye, regularly cheese deliveries are made to Istanbul, Ankara, Bordum – wherever there are cheese lovers. Along with the cheese comes honey, tahini (sesame paste), pekmez (molasses) and dried figs – all of which taste great with cheese.
Back in the summer we described how Buket is crafting a selections of cheeses, high in the mountain pastures above Seydikemer. Using either the milk from her fifty goats, or locally sourced cows’ milk from the her neighbouring small-holdings, Buket is producing a unique range of European style cheeses; soft or hard, they are all delicious.
Buket’s cheeses and other custom-made traditional products can be delivered all over the country. She has created a special festive hamper for those keen to sample these delights, or who want to gift them to others. These can be delivered direct to any door you choose, as long as it’s in Turkey.
