  1. There seems to be scope for more and more accurate transport information for in and around Fethiye.
For example, the Belediye website gives incorrect info for current bus timetable. Not all bus stops have current timetable on display but some do have old timetable.
Only recently on Calis route, there was a new timetable displayed on the bus for a few days before disappearing and then appearing again in amended form.
Dolmus should display bus frequency and “last bus” info.
One dolmus recently did have a detailed timetable on display but for a different route from the one which it was travelling !
Given that timetables do fluctuate according to season and during the season, it would be helpful if there was more, more reliable and more accessible information.
Perhaps, Fethiye Times would consider doing this as public service.

PS what time is last dolmus from Fethiye to Calis at the time of writing?

  2. Nakamura: Thank you for your comment… It’s interesting you should bring up the subject of public transport, as Fethiye Times been preparing a comprehensive timetable (based on information provided by the individual dolmus cooperatives). We are about half way through at the moment. The plan is to have it as a download onto smart phones and ipads. Watch this space, although please don’t hold your breath! It’s a rather onerous task, as much of the information is indecipherable… But we will get there eventually… insallah!
