Osmanlı Kahvesici is a chain of an Antalya based coffee shops that has recently opened a branch in Fethiye in a great location. We test, taste and toast their coffee in this EAT-FETHIYE review.
Ok… we know from experience that the first sip of a frothy cappuccino can more often than not result in giving the drinker a moustache, until (hopefully) someone discreetly points it out to you, that is… but now, on Fethiye’s kordon there’s a coffee shop with a moustache for its logo. We don’t think there’s any connection.
Osmanlı Kahvesici is a of a chain of an Antalya based coffee shops and a branch opened here in Fethiye just recently.
Opposite the Fishermen’s Wharf, it’s not only a great place for a Turkish or western style coffee, while watching the fishermen mending their nets, an opportunity to meet the fishermen’s well fed cats and watch the sunset, but it’s also a sells ice cream and for chocoholics, a deliciously rich chocolate fondue!
When we visited they were still putting the final touches to the décor; which admittedly is a bizarre slightly Mexican theme, complete with green plastic cacti, but the staff were friendly and chatty.
The coffee was excellent too… which is, after all, the main reason for going there.
Osmanlı Kahvecisi also sells coffee, tea and chocolate in rather smart packaging… and chocolates too.
The Osmanlı Kahvesici coffee shop is located near the Fisherman's Wharf on Fethiye's new extended promenade between Fethiye Town and Calis. Follow the seaside prom and you will find it.
